Cookie policy

What we store in your browser, why, and how to turn the optional parts on or off.

This document is provided in good faith and is not legal advice.

Effective date: 19 July 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Juste Tools LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (“Juste Tools”, “Clavio”, “we”, “us”), uses cookies and similar browser storage on this website. For the purposes of the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, the data controlleris Juste Tools LTD. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers personal data more broadly.

1. What cookies and similar storage are

“Cookies” are small files a site stores in your browser. We use the term broadly here to also cover related technologies such as localStorage — a first-party, same-origin store the site can read and write. Some of this storage is strictly necessary to make the site work; the rest is optional and runs only with your consent.

2. Essential storage (always on)

These are required for the website to function, so they do not require consent under the applicable rules. They do not track you across sites and carry no analytics:

  • Session & sign-in — when you sign in with Apple or Google, we keep a first-party session so you stay signed in and can reach your account. Without it, authentication cannot work.
  • Language preference — a small cl_lang cookie remembers whether you chose English or Russian, so the site renders in your language on your next visit.
  • Your cookie choice — we store your consent decision itself (in localStorage, under clavio.cookie-consent.v1) so we can honour it and not ask again on every page. Remembering your choice is itself strictly necessary.

3. Optional analytics and ad attribution (off until you opt in)

With your consent, we use Mixpanel to understand, in aggregate, how visitors move through the site, and AppsFlyer to measure whether a Google Ads click led to a Mac download and later in-app milestones. This is the only optional category, and it is off by default: neither service loads or writes analytics storage unless and until you turn on Analytics in our cookie banner.

How we keep it privacy-friendly when it is on:

  • Storage: Mixpanel uses localStoragein your browser to hold an anonymous identifier and event state. AppsFlyer's Smart Script temporarily stores incoming campaign parameters so the download link can preserve attribution. We do not set third-party advertising cookies.
  • EU-hosted:events are sent to Mixpanel's EU endpoint (api-eu.mixpanel.com), so the data is processed in the EU.
  • Limited data:neither service receives voice audio, transcripts, polished text, your name, or your email. Mixpanel's automatic IP-based geolocation is switched off. AppsFlyer may process campaign and click identifiers (such as gclid), referrer, basic device/network data, and the named app events needed to measure the campaign.
  • Measurement only: we use AppsFlyer data to attribute and optimise our own Google Ads campaigns; we do not sell it or use it to build third-party ad profiles.

4. Legal basis

We rely on different legal bases for the two categories. Essential storage is used on the basis of our legitimate interestin providing a working, secure website (and, being strictly necessary, it is exempt from the consent requirement under UK PECR and the EU ePrivacy rules). Optional analytics and attribution are used only on the basis of your consent, which you give by turning on the Analytics category — and which you can withdraw at any time.

5. Changing or withdrawing your consent

You are in control. When you first visit, our banner lets you Accept all or Reject all with equal ease, or open Manage to choose categories individually. To change your mind later — including to withdraw a consent you previously gave — reopen the preferences at any time:

— or use the Manage cookies link in the site footer.

Withdrawing consent stops further analytics and attribution tracking and clears the related Mixpanel and AppsFlyer browser storage. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though essential cookies are needed for parts of the site (such as signing in) to work.

6. Retention

Essential cookies last only as long as needed for their purpose — session cookies are cleared when you sign out or your session expires; the language and consent records persist until you change or clear them. Mixpanel storage persists per its configured defaults while consent is active. AppsFlyer Smart Script campaign entries expire after a short attribution window. Both are cleared from the site when you withdraw consent. We retain analytics and campaign-attribution records only as long as needed for product analysis and campaign measurement.

7. Who we share data with

The third parties involved in this optional category are Mixpanel, which processes product analytics on its EU infrastructure, and AppsFlyer, which processes campaign attribution and app-event postbacks on our behalf. Our full list of sub-processors is in our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — for example if we add or remove a tool. When the optional categories change, we will ask for your consent again. We will revise the effective date above when we make changes.
